I have been searching for info on my Mc Dowells of Magheralin,in Co Down.Is Magheralin in Co Armagh? John Mc Dowell b 1837 m'd Martha Jane(Ann) Irwin C 1860 . Agnetta

The McDOWELL surname also occurs in nearby AGHALEE.
GREEN. Waringstown, Corcreeny, Magherana, Magheralin, Aghalee, Aghagallon, Crumlin, Seagoe, Lurgan, (Northern Ireland).

WARING. Waringstown House, Co. Down (Northern Ireland).

GREEN. Toowoomba, Maryborough, Gladstone, Pittsworth, Aubigny, Kilcoy, Toowong, Brisbane, Buddina (Queensland, Australia).
