Bowden/Boden of Drogheda/Dublin
« on: Monday 04 September 06 13:28 BST (UK) »
I know next to nothing about my great-great-grandmother Anne Marie Bowden (or Boden). She was born in Drogheda between 1822 and 1830 and her father was James Bowden, a farmer. She married at St Peters in Phibsbro, Dublin in 1847. She had two brothers James and Patrick. Presumably James was the elder since he took his father's name. Apart from Anne's marriage (and death in England in 1903), I've never found any other Bowden/Boden records in Drogheda or Dublin. Can anyone help?

Unless you have their ages there's no way of knowing whether James or Patrick was older.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
