Hi, saw your post and wondered if you could help me.  I have an ancestor, James Cheeseman b 1792 d 1856 who lived in Camberwall/St Giles Peckham.  He married a Rebecca Wale from Maidenhead and they had at least one daughter, Phoebe who married William Sawyer.  Phoebe's daughter Phoebe, migrated to Australia.  I'm wondering if my Cheesemans might be related to yours?  Be really grateful if you (or anyone else reading this) could help.  Cheers!
