Joseph Price born c 1865 Look up please

I am trying to find a marriage of my ancestor, Joseph Price who lived at William Street Birkenhead at the time of the 1891 Census. Can someone please help? I would be really greatful because I am trying to find out if Joseph had children who would be my second cousins.

Hi Hazel

I have looked on Cheshire BMD and no marriage there, but on the Lancs BMD
1890 Our Lady & St Nicholas   (more commonly known as St Nicholas) there is a marriage of Joseph Price to an Emma Roberts.
This would need checking to see the parents of Joseph.
You could ask for a look up on the Lancashire list (for Liverpool RCO) or if you can wait until next week, I can look it up for you.

I have Price in my line, but as yet can find no connection to yours.

Thanks for your help. My great grandparents, John Price and Ellen Price(nee Schofield) were also married at St Nicholas Church in Liverpool. It seems to have been a popular Church for R Catholics. I would really appreciate it if you would check the Liverpool site for me.

Found a marriage of a Joseph Newton Price and Emma Mason on FreeBMD in Birkenhead 1898 but I don't think this is right. He is in Birkenhead on the 1901 if you want to look up that census on 1837 site and they have 2 children but the eldest is 7 years old. His wife is Emma.
