ROACH - Letcombe Regis

Hi,
I have just been perusing the old posts on Berkshire and came across this thread.  The Harriet Wise mentioned - does anyone have anything more about her family.  I would be very interested as I have 'possibly' a George Wise born cica 1746  possibly in Letcombe Regis.

Baptism Jan 5 1745/6 Born Jan 1 George Wise son of William and Ann

The marriage of William Roach in 1786 was to a Henrietta Wise

Yes, that is our George.  Do you have anything for his father William Wise? eg Where born and Parents!  We know he married Ann Wernem in 1768 Pakenham Suffolk but was in Fawley Berkshire for the birth of his six children.  We also know George Wise was buried in Fawley in 1818.

We are also interested in Henrietta Wise can you find out any more about her?  We have no idea whether she is connected and would appreciate any information, Thanks,

  Two questions...... You have George's father William b abt 1746, that is when George was born

  Have you a rough date for his father?

  Do you mean Henrietta to look up as that is the name of the person who married William Roach

Got myself in a real pickle trying to do 3 things at once!!! 
I do apologise I don't know when William was born.  And I read Henrietta as Harriet.

 So starting again!  Any Wises in that region before 1746 as we are stuck.

 Ok ... Baptisms go back to 1663 for the name Wise so i will do all from 1700- 1745 first:)

 Spelling change as you can see so i think the Hinerite/ Henrietta are the same person

 Next to Letcombe Regis is Letcombe Bassett and i found this one baptism

  Aug ? 1737 Laura Wise dau of William and Ann

 Maybe for some reason this took place here and this is the same William and Ann
