Tiffany,
I thought I wrote you some time ago as those are my McClearys. I think we spelled the name differently on my gt aunt's tree, so there was some confusion. I have talked to other McLaughlan relatives of NZ when I was looking at that line.
Many Wilson/McCLearys, McCleary/Robinson and McCLeary/Cairnes relatives are in NZ. In addition some of the Doaks there are highly related. Bits of the tree is on Rootsweb and Genes Reunited by several people. Look for lines with Boyds, Ezekiels, and Samuels.
If you look at the pictures on the Newmills Presbyterian Church site you will see pictures including a few McCleary relatives. I am not at home now, and can not give you the e-mail of the Bleary family and their relationship, but you are closely related. You are from Samuel's line and probably your family diverges from mine at Grandson Samuel's children, but I would have to look at my records.
The McClearys arrived in Corcreany before 1740 and the line with Samuels soon moved to Bleary, Co. Down. The others stayed in Corcreany,Co. Down, but went to church in Lurgan. The births, marriages, and deaths were recorded in Lurgan. However, family members eventually spread into outlying towns near Lurgan.
I am trying to follow the lines from Samuel #1's brothers Andrew and Richard, but have holes in the lines. Please let me know if you have any information on them.
