any info on Samuel Mather married Jane Turnbull 1774, in Belford, Northumberland

I would like to know if any one has any information about the family of Samuel Mather who married Jane turnbull on May 29, 1774 in Belford, Northumberland, England. Samuel was born in 1742 in Berwick-upon-tweed, and his father was I believe, Peter Mather.

  I am related to Ann Mather Finlayson who was born in England to Ann Selby and Ralph Mather. Ann Mather and her family moved to The Scotch Settlement of Quebec then to Detroit Michigan. I read your posting and I noticed that Samuel was married in the same town that Ann's grandfather came from.  I do not have any information about Samuel but maybe this is the same Mather family? 

Ann's father was Ralph Mather b. 12 May 1782 Lucker, Northumberland, d. 2 Nov 1861 Quebec; Buried 5 Nov 1861 Beechridge Presbyterian Cemetery.
Grandparents : James Mather b. 20 Dec 1747 Belford, Northumberland, m. Elizabeth Unknown, est 1774
Grandparents: Andrew Mather b. 18 Oct 1719 Belford and Elizabeth Anderson b. abt 1724 Bamburgh, Northumberland;
married 1745 Bamburgh

Pigot's Trade Directory of !834... entries for Belford,
shows a Susan Mather as one of the village's shopkeepers.
