FERGUSON family - Co. Tyrone
« on: Tuesday 22 August 06 19:29 BST (UK) »
Hello!

I am currently trying to research my FERGUSON roots. The information I have is:

John Ferguson (B: probably Co. Tyrone, IRL)
               |
Ann Jane Ferguson (B: Bef. 1858 - Caledon, Co. Tyrone, IRL) married  William Miller (B: Bef. 1858 - Coolkill, Co. Armagh, IRL) 1858 Tynan parish, Co. Armagh, IRL
               |
William "Jim" Miller (B: 1865 - Corfehan, Co. Armagh)

Ann Jane Ferguson was my gr-gr-grandmother.

If anyone has additional information on the people above, or on the Ferguson name in Co. Tyrone I would enjoy talking with you.

Thank you!

Going through older posts and came across this one. By now you might have been able to find more information but if you haven't done so the following might be of interest.

IGI (www.familysearch.org) lists 4 children for william Miller and Anne(e) Jane Ferguson:
1. William born 15 Nov.1865 Tynan district, Armagh
2. Thomas born 27 Sept.1868 Co. Armagh
3. James born 28 July 1870 Co. Armagh
4. Ann Jane born 28 Aug.1872 Tynan district, Armagh
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
