Children of William and Isabella Price Birkenhead

Can someone help me please, I am searching for names and details of the 13 children born to my Great Uncle William, born 1874 and his wife Isabella. The family lived in Birkenhead.

Hi Hazelnut,

I would usually recommend the birth indexes on www.cheshirebmd.org.uk but the coverage is only up to 1901 on this site.  It's going to be difficult to make sure you have the right family, do you have Isabella's maiden name?

From 1912/1913 the mother's maiden name is available on the BMD indexes but not before and I suspect there may be quite alot of Price's in the Birkenhead area so I suspect that it will be difficult to establish if they are the right ones without birth certificates.  The only other option is to try baptism registers which may be available at the local library or the Cheshire Records Office.

I don't suppose it's possible that this is the same family that Jackie posted about here:
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,177585.0.html earlier this week?  There is a William there born c1874....

William Price was my great Uncle. His wife's maiden name was Garroch. William is one of the children of John and Ellen Price of Birkenhead. It could be the same family then couldn't it
