Marriage @ Kirkburton

I am trying to find the marriage of Joseph STRINGER to Abigail ?

I know that Joseph was baptised at Kirkburton in 1770, and suspect he was married at Kirkburton too but I only have the marriages at Kirkburton from 1793+.

Could anyone check the earlier records for him please?

 I have listed for 1754-1799
St John,s Kirkheaton. four Joseph Stringer
but not Abigail.  I have  the Index marriages for 1754-1771
but no later. I have looked through Allhallows
Almondbury 1816-1822 and nothing there either.
also St. John Church Kirkheaton 1826-1837.
Perhaps someone has Kirkheaton 1800 -1826.
or Almondbury 1780-1816

Have lots earlier if you need baptism and other
records census etc.

It really is a mystery!

I have Kirkburton baptisms from 1686-1837 and marriages 1686-1837 and the majority of Almondbury indexes too but nothing later than 1837 and as you say they're not in there - it's frustrating!  Thank you for checking Kirkheaton too.

Hi ,
I suppose you know that there are two different
spellings. One being Stringer and the other. Stringar
I typed in Abigail Stringar into the igi to see what would
come up and it turned out that Abigail is a male
son born to Jos. Stringar on the 16th April 1770
Kirkheaton. Is this a connection to your family.
the batch no PO12721  source call 0098535 print out
1235414. You could also try the ancestral file.
