Oh Rabbit that is such a cool photograph ... I love the fact that most of the group are enjoying themselves and have huge smiles  ;D

Hi Cal,

The best bit was, that a cousin of mine sent this one to me, it has the whole of my dads family in.  I had no idea that this was around and was so thrilled to get it!  They are all Liverpool people, they were a wonderful bunch for enjoying themselves.

The mother was Irish and ruled with a rod of iron, which is probably why the children all went to the USA to live, only my dad and one sister came back to fight the war and stay in England.

Hi great to see the Feasey/Morris wedding & to put some faces on names I've got in my tree in NZ. My gggg grandfather was Richard Henry Feasey son of Daniel son of Richard & Ann (Hammett) so Daniel was Joseph Henry's brother. Richard Henry came to NZ in the 1870s

I love this thread, as you say, alannz, it's nice to put faces to names, and wedding photos are very useful for that.
Welcome to Roots, I'm sure you will have a wonderful time here.

A wonderful thread, I love seeing these photos, and thank you to all who have shared their treasured pictures.  It brings a tear to the eye to see a family gathered for a happy occasion, and glimpse for a moment a special time for them.  We have a large family and weddings were the only time we all got together.  Sadly time stands still for no man and some have passed away now, but the memories and photos are treasured.
