MALTMAN SHEARER

JOHN MALTMAN came to Australia c.1853 from Glasgow. He was industrial chemist working for Hutcheson & Mitchell. He was linked to SHEARER family, as his father JAMES MALTMAN married SHEARER and the brother JOHN MALTMAN married SHEARER in Glasgow as well. There is much history gleaned over 20 years to share with others on Maltman lines c.1800 Glasgow an onward. Thelma in Australia

Hi
I'm a descendant of the Maltmans from Killinchy County Down in Northern Ireland, I believe they came from Scotland in the 1800s
