I've just had to make a few adjustments due to following a false trail, but here's what I have.
Great great grandparents.
PATERNAL SIDE
George Kiping Burrows (1863 - 1931) married Elizabeth Sinden (1869 - 1949) at Holy trinity Church, Harrow Green, Essex on 26 November 1888
William Packman (1852 - 1926) married Rhoda Hannah Baker (1856 - 1905) at St George's church, Deal, Kent on 3 July 1882
James Charles Murphy (presumed father, but he may not have been, 1868 - 1912) married Jane Piper (1873? - 1917) at St Ann's Roman Cathloic Church, Whitechapel, Middlesex on 13 October 1890, when Jane's two children were aged 10 and 5
Thomas King Spooner (1857 - 1932?) married Harriet Tamer Martindale (1853 - 1905) at St Mary's church, Hoxton, Middlesex on 2 April 1879
MATERNAL SIDE
William Hardwick (1860 - 1928?) married Emma Wiles (1862 - 1930) in Great Staughton, Huntingdonshire in 1884
Charles James Christopher Stephenson (1855 - 1919) married Emily Cass Holcomb (1860 - 1936) at Hendon, Middlesex in 1885 (although he was from Newmarket; and she had been born in Mile End and grew up in the Newmarket area. She had gone to London to have her first, illegitimate child, my great grandmother, who was named Myrah Cass Stephenson Holcomb, and who I presume to have been the daughter of Charles James Christopher Stephenson. In later documents, the fact that her surname was ever Holcomb is carefully suppressed, which made tracking her down the devil's own job ...)
Joseph Oakey (1851 - 1896) married Ann Peabody (1850 - 1925?) in St Pancras in 1876
William Foster (1856 - 1933) and Eliza Weatherley (circa 1860 - 1936?), who are said to have been married 29 years in the 1911 census, but who as far as I can tell never did marry.
