Hiya Kath,

Bad news I'm afraid. None of the names on your list appear in the Directory.

All the Best, Chris

Oh well Chris. Thanks for trying. :'( It doesn't surprise me though. My lot seem to have been so insignificant they never turn up anywhere. ;)

Hiya Agnetta,

The Ros Davies Co. Down Ireland Genealogical Research site is the best one to provide the answers.

What a treat! :o

Christopher, I am interested in Robert Rodgers, who was a tailor, I believe, in Comber about 1886. And a William McConnell, or William (Willie) John McConnell who would probably have been a farmer in the area of Comber or Newtonards.

Appreciate your kind offer.

Granma Anne

Hiya Anne,

The Master tailors in Comber in 1886 were Wm. T. Geddis, Hy. McKeag and S. & W. Pinnace.
Two farmers named McConnell are mentioned .. John McConnell (JP) Mill Street and Sl McConnell
of B'gaughey (Ballygaughey?)

Chris
