Dear Chris,
Would it be possible for you to look for the names, Conkey, Curlett, Annett and McLoughlin for me. It would be much appreciated thankyou,
Theresa
Hiya Theresa,
Have you any christian names for these guys

Have you looked for them in Ros Davies' Co. Down, Ireland Genealogy Research Site

If I'd an idea of the town where they lived I could check through either Bassetts or the Belfast and Ulster directories.
A massive number of families named Annett lived in Kilkeel. There are a few of them listed in the 1880 Belfast and Ulster Directory which is on the Lennon Wylie web site ...
Annett & Co., woollen drapers
C. Annett, grocer
Jane Annett, dress maker
John Annett, woollen draper
John Annett, Royal Hotel and Posting Establishment
There were Conkeys in several places including Annaclone, Bangor, Comber, Donaghadee, Hillsborough, Killinchy, Kilmood and Knockbreda.
There are Curlets, Curletts and Curlits listed. Among the places they are to be found are Ballywalter, Bangor, Comber and Killyleagh.
There were quite a number of McLoughlins from Newry.
Chris
