Charles Burland re married in the March Quarter of 1862 to  Amelia.

Can anyone help with her Maiden name?

The Freebmd project has not finished transcribing that quarter so the possible match you are hoping for is not showing yet.  I had a look at the Family Search site and there is nothing there either.

At this stage the only way to find out who he married would be to order the certificate from the GRO, unless another Rootschatter has any other deas.

As Amelia isnt too common, you could try looking for her in 1861 and 1851 just on DoB and Chritian name - but at best this would just produce a shortlist, and also was she previously married given her age - born 1832 it seems.

I did look and theres at least 6 ....

Having looked at the names on the page in question, There is NO AMELIA, as the full page (4 names) is transcribed from the alpahbetical source.

Either it's the wrong husband
Or an unknown wife.
