Was Martin McGoldrick's father not Michael McGoldrick, a peace activist who died in Moldova earlier this year?

I've had a look on the message board ...It appears to have started in April but it has been very quiet since the end of July although a couple of people have posted this month.

If you click on 'Next' at the top or bottom it goes back to August 2004.

I guess nobody expects it to be there or knows about it because the main site is down.

Nice post you put in there Christopher.

Thanks Sunnyhill. I'll put a link to it on a couple of sites and awaken the interest.

I sent an email to the Editor of the Lurgan Times last week. He believes Michael's widow is hoping to continue with some of her late husband's charity work but he is not aware of the situation regarding the website. I gave him a link to this thread to let him see how people feel about the possible long term loss of such a wonderful resource and to indicate that people would probably be willing to help in some way if they could. He said he will let me know if he hears of any developments.

Just read a message on another board.  This person has found Lurgan Ancestry in an Archive.  Search engine isn't working and some photos missing, but all the online census etc. are there.  Hooray!
