I don't think so: Bird appears to a very common local name. Mine originate from Yardley (or Haycocks Green -as one enumerator put it! ;D

Alfred Bird of Custard fame was originally from Gloucestershire b 1812 ish  my lot headed by Joseph who m in 1812 seem to be from the Edgbaston area of B'ham not to be confused with the Joseph b 1807 also m to a Mary
I do have a second flock from Yardley though Ann b about 1765 Yardley m Isaac HOLLIOAKE please  if anyone stumbles on her let me know
Next group are from Bromyard Herefordshire Mary abt 1787
Then Mary Maria b 1794 Hanbury Worcester
Next William 1845 son of James from Cradley Worcester
These groups as well as several in Devon
I just can't get a grip on this flighty lot any sightings by fellow twitchers will be more than welcome ;D
Please excuse the puns I've been up since 5 long boring story ugh

When I was a child "Lady BIRD" of custard fame used to drive around in a custard yellow Rolls Royce.  She used to park it in the little local library car park - it took up most of the spaces on its own!
