1851 Look up Burton on Trent Murray

Can anyone look up Burton on Trent for me
for Murray family
John Murray age 45  born Ireland
Bridget or Anne Murray age 30 born Ireland
Bernard Murray son age 8 born Ireland
James Murray son age  3 born ////  maybe Cheshire
Elizabeth Murray daughter age 1  (born in 1951 so may not appear)

I've just posted a ? on the Staff. board. I was asking if Burton Upon Trent is in Staff. I have an ancestor found in the birth  registers for 1849 and it says: Burton-Upon-Trent, Derbyshire. Perhaps back then it was part of Derby. I won't know until some wiser person answes my question. I thought this may be your problem too.

yes there was a time when Burton on Trent was part of both Staffs and Derbyshire - The major part of the town was in Staffs

sorry bill no Murray in burton in 1851 in 71 there is a john 65 born roscommon,ireland Ann 50 born manston evens? James  24 bevington Lancashire Annie17, Richard 14, peter 10 all born burton if these are your lot they might be still in Lancashire in 1851

yes they are the ones in 71  Peter being my grandfather . GGmother should actually read Monesterevin and I think bevington is actually berrington on the wirral - this is all down to the irish accent versus the Scribe. I have them in 1861 in Burton with three other siblings Bernard and James and Elizabeth but what is interesting is that Elizabeth was born circa 51 and was born in Burton on Trent . I have checked Lancashire but no joy so far
