Hi Mags,

I'm afraid this is not enough to find him...

Have you spotted the family in 1881, free to search at either www.familysearch.org or www.ancestry.co.uk

If so, please post the details so that we can try and trace the family back.

Please post all the details, Mags - names, ages, birthplaces etc - otherwise we won't be able to help you find him.

I couldn't even find the family with son Prince  :P - now I see it's in 1901 that you found them.  ;)

Have you got any evidence whatsoever that this Samuel is the one you are trying to trace? There are quite a few Samuel Thomas' around  :-\

I can't see any matching Charles with a father Samuel on any census therefore I haven't got the slightest idea how to identify the right Samuel...

Hope somebody else can help you  :-\
