MANN/MURRELL of Norwich
« on: Friday 04 August 06 13:01 BST (UK) »
Is anyone familiar with the following couple

Sarah Caroline Murrell born 1855 Norwich she is daughter of George and Sarah Murrell  my Great Great Great Grandparents on  my mothers side.

I hope to get marriage cert soon but until I can I am trying to find which George Mann she married in Norwich in 1874

George according to census material is abt a year older than Sarah also born Norwich

I am interested because the Manns from Norwich already crop up in 3 different parts of my tree and so far I cannot connect them in anyway

Anyone who is researching these names from Norwich I would love to hear from you.

Hi Teresa

I have 2 Murrell's from Norwich in my tree, but sadly no Mann's.
Cant find much about the Murrell family at all, I have a Winifred Murrell who married a James Taylor in 1789, whose parents were a Wolterton Taylor and Mary Murrell, who married in 1759, keep it in the family,  :D but cant find anything out about the Murrell's.
If i get any further information about them, i'll let you know.

Take care.

I have an interest in Mann of Norwich but sorry, no Murrell connections as yet.  My Gt gt grandfather was Cain Paul Mann (1824-1896).  His daughter Caroline Charlotte was my Gt grandmother.  Other local families of interest to me include Horth, Nichols and Smith.  I'll let you know if I come across anything that may be of interest to you.
