I live in Bridgend, South Wales and my family moved here at the turn of the last century. From you reply I would assume that my g gparents were renting a cottage at St Cleers at that time (as he was an agricultural labourer, not the highest of paid jobs!)

William was born in Somerton Hill in 1853. Married in 1872 - possibly moved to St Cleers around this time? Im not sure when he moved to Bancome Road, but it was before the 1901 census.

William's father came from Pitney.

I'm not sure of exactly what, but I would be grateful for any info.

Thanks.

Paul

Hi.
Further to your enquiries yesterday. Have some GENERAL info I have emailed to Lynda, you might like to see it. However I don't understand how this site works for you to give me your email add? If you can work it out I will contact you direct? Yesterday Lynda put her add: on the site for me, it has now been deleted by the moderator & I don't want to be in trouble for doing it wrong again??? Thanks doidydee
