Hutchison family Stanley Perthshire

Hello i am trying to find out about my fathers ancestors, as my fathers father died before he was born.
His grandfather was a Maitland Hutchison who was born Stanley, he married an Annie Aitken in Glasgow ( Maitland was born c1847)
His parents were Alexander Hutchison born c1809 and Helen Cooper c1812..........Alexanders parents were Alexander c1782 Maybole, and Janrt Clark c1791. Any help will be much appreciated. Thankyou regards Munchkin.

i am struggling to find your annie aitken on the census, do you know who her parents were?

alexander married janet clark 7th may 1816, st cuthberts edinburgh

alexander born around 1782 in ayr

alexander died 19th june, 1857 (which means you should be able to get his death cert form scottishpeople, which will allow you to find out who his parents were, taking you back another generatio)

maitland married annie aitken 14th july 1871 at central distict, glasgow

Hi Joebhoy, and thanks for the onfo, i think Annie Aitkens parents were Thomas Aitken and Annie Gilchrist. There are also 2 more children i know of

David Hutchison, my grandfather.
