Sounds exactly right . So as far back as 1816 the family were in Scarborough. Looking forward now to saying told you so to uncle and my hubby who was sure uncle was right!

According to 1851, they were all born at Scarborough too
(both William and Ellen are age 54 in 1851. The IGI has a possible christening for Ann in Scarborough)

I can see only one Caroline Marshall born ca. 1850 Scarborough. She's the daughter of George and Rachel.
