Thanks Bulsara

There's a large gravestone to a group of Twyman's in St Peters churchyard apparently (I've seen pictures).  They're all my rellies.  One day I'll get down there.  To have a look I mean, not to join them. :D

St.Peters is a lovely church but I find parts of the graveyard quite spooky.Too many very old tombstones, quite overgrown in parts and dark with many trees.  :o

Just curious ??? Graham, I see that you have  Bartlett, Twyman and Solly in your list.  Have you read Ada Twyman of Margate?  Would you have any further information no matter how small on them I have read the Thanet newspaper articles about some of the Bartlett-Twyman family.  ??? tks.

A Man of Kent I am

Born and bred in Thanet, Margate General to be precise, lived in all 3 main towns.  I agree with the comment about St Peters Churchyard, my Mum died when I was born and i have never been able to find the grave I expect the stone has been lifted by now, but the search continues!

We are not a breed apart I am proud to be a Thanetian   :)  :)  :)
