Wilson Family, Glasgow
« on: Sunday 30 July 06 16:12 BST (UK) »
I am looking for any information on my grandfathers family, he was Robert Wilson and at the time of his death his address was  218 Centre Street, Glasgow although he actually died in Ruchill hospital from lung cancer. His wife's name was Agnes m.s. McCulloch Murphy and he had two daughters Bunty and Sadie (I think Bunty is a form of Elizabeth) and he had two step children (who were Agnes's from her first marriage) Margaret and William.  Roberts fathers name was Thomas Wilson and Robert had a brother Tommy (Thomas) and a brother Frank who died I think in the 60s. If any of these names come up in your family tree or you know any of the family please get in touch with me. My father was Frank Wilson oldest child of Robert Wilson from his first wife who died in 1922.

Not necessarily. I know of various people nicknamed Bunty whose given names were Margaret, Anne, Janet and others.
