Hi Kaz

Just new to this site and trying to find my way. Can you give me directions to Ramoan Cemetery? Can I get to it by public transport? I don't mind a walk I like walking. Nice to know offers of help are there. Went into chat room yesterday and bit lost. Hopefully I will get the hang of it.

Hi Kaz,

      Thanks for the offer.

Was wondering, if and when you have the time, if you could look for my family  - just outside of Ballycastle. There is a McKIERNAN/McKERNAN plot in the cemetery at St. Patrick's RC Church, Culfeightrin Parish, in Ballyvoy.  Would really appreciate it if you could help me out as I am not able to travel from the US. A few years ago, I also tried writing to the church asking if they might be able to check their records, but I never got a response despite sending an International Reply Coupon. I presume they are short staffed and cannot do lookups of this sort.  I have been told the records I need were not allowed to be recorded by the LDS, so I cannot obtain access to them in the US.

Anything you could find would be greatfully appreciated.  Thank you ever so much.

Hi Kaz

Thank your for letting me know where Ramoan cementary is. Names I am looking for are Magowan/McGowan, McCaw and Martin. Poss Hannan but don't think Hannans would be there. Thanks for offer but I would like to go, see around Ballycastle/Rathlin. Some years since I have been there. I will be travelling from Belfast.  Hope to go mid of September, so if I can help you or anyone else when I am there please let me know.

Hello Mairec,
Have you come across any McCAWS from Holywood? My gg aunt Sarah Anne FRAZER b1843 m1863 William John McCAW, children Elizabeth (1865),Agnes (1867), Thomas Henry (1869). There were McCAWS still in Holywood in the early 20th century- they signed the Covenant.
Any possible connections?

Regards
