Hi, Harpist~

I am also searching for CHAPMAN's in Liverpool.  My names include William and Elizabeth (nee Cooper) Chapman, Dorothy, Sydney and Frederick George (children of William and Elizabeth).  The only date of birth I have is for Fred which was July 5th or 6th, 1894ish.  Any connections?  Thus far, I have had no luck finding any information on them.

Message to Harpist,

Did you ever resolve what 147a actually was in 1929

Would welcome any news you were able to find.

Nunc.

Hi Nunc

147 was Mill Road Infirmary, which started out as part of West Derby Union. see - http://www.workhouses.org.uk/index.html?Liverpool/Liverpool.shtml and search for "West Derby Union".

Hi Harpist,

I can't tell you who was at 35 Long Lane in 1928 but I can tell you who was there in 1938, (from the directory)  it was Rd Moorcroft I assume Rd meant Richard.

The only other nearest I have is 1914, I don't suppose that will help.

 :)

I could look in 1914 for you, do you have any names you are looking for?

Other than that, the electoral rolls would be useful, they are at Liverpool Records Office on microfilm.

 :(

There was a Wood Lane Gateacre listed in 1914, but no Beeby or Corcoran, do have any first names and occupations, I could look in the names index instead.
