« on: Tuesday 25 July 06 20:19 BST (UK) »
Hello

Please could someone look up the original marriage record of Thomas AMES on 8.12.1833 at Clent?

Who did he marry?  Was it Henzey Green?   :-\

Hi ya

Although this isn't from the parish registers directly, the IGI database from the Church of the Latterday Saints has the record of his marriage on 8/12/1833 in Clent , to Nansey Green, so close match to your Henzy Green. Good luck with your searching

Thanks Shirl.

I'll have to look at the original handwritten version I think.  Then I'll know whether to search for a Henzey (a local name I think) or a Nanc(s)ey.  Her name seems to vary per document.  It could be enumerator's interpretations of what they heard, or her giving her 'currently preferred' name.  One census even has her down as Jessie...

Cheers, Carole
