Nothing in the pre 1855 inscriptions.

If you go to http://www.wlfhs.org.uk/ and click on Burial Registers Search you'll find David Parker and a possible for Mary Forrest.

You would need to purchase the CD for details.

You are so right, there they are. I love those folks at the FHSs who work to put these indexes online for us all to use. Do you know if the CD has a transcription of the OPR burial/death record, or the MI, either, both?

David Parker, Farmer, Burnbrae, died 19/4/1884 aged 68, from Dropsy, burial 24/4/1884 at Whitburn, Section D - no lair number.

Jane Parker, Burnbrae, Whitburn, daughter of David Parker, Farmer, died 17/11/1871 from consumption, aged 23, burial 21/11/1871.
  
Mary Forrest Parker, died 8/1/1887, Burnbrae, aged 64, of heart disease, buried, 12/1/1887 at Whitburn.  

Hugh Parker, (no age given), died 19/3/1866 at Burnbrae of Decline, Section D, Lair 179, son of David Parker, Farmer, buried 23/2/1866.  

Mary Parker, died 11/2/1869 of consumption, at Burnbrae, aged 24, Section D, Lair 179, daughter of David Parker, Farmer, buried 16/2/1869.    

Mary Parker, aged 0, died 17/3/1870, died at Burnbrae, daughter of Jane Parker, Section D, Lair 179, of Water in the Head, buried 21/3/1870 at Whitburn.  

David Parker, aged 25, died of consumption 18/10/1883 at Burnbrae, burial 24/10/1883, Section D Lair 180 at Whitburn.  

1881 Census has:

My ancestors are also John Matthew Gardner (born 1796 England) and Isabella Laing Gardner (born 14 March 1795) through their son, Colin, who immigrated to Australia. I know from my research that John (merchant and innkeeper) died on 13th January 1847 in Borrowstowness, West Lothian, Scotland. His wife Isabella Gardner (nee Laing) took over the running of his affairs and she died on 30th May 1851 also in Borrowstowness. I have both of their wills and when Isabella died her accumulated possessions and land came in at over 800pounds, quite a sum for that time. They were survived by sons William and Colin (John died when he was four) and a daughter, Isabella. If you need any more information about the Gardner family I would be happy to assist as best I can. I can also send you the wills via email as well. Hope this has helped.

Searching for tombstones/burials for Alexander DRUMMOND and his wife Christian STEWART died late 1700's up to c. 1810 in either Abercorn or Linlithgow graveyards. Dont have exact dates, thats what I'm looking for.

West Lothian Burials CD - Abercorn not covered as yet, but none of your names in Linlithgow.

I have a hunch that this couple moved to Glasgow.  But then they could still be buried in WL. and the monument long gone before a transcription. Maybe never know.
