My Honey line is as follows :-
1. Edward Honey born c1590
Father of 5 known offspring, all baptised Sunningwell.
2. William Honey (son of Edward) baptised 24 Dec 1626, Sunningwell
married Elizabeth Clements 21 Nov 1650, Sunningwell
3. Robert Honey baptised 25 Nov 1664, son of William. No likely marriage found as yet. 7 known offspring all baptised in Sunningwell.
4. Christopher Honey, son of Robert, born 1700, Sunningwell married Mary Stevens in Bessleseigh 18 June 1730.
Christopher buried 22 Aug 1756, Sunningwell
Mary buried 28 June 1763, Sunningwell
5. James Honey, son of Christopher, baptised 28 July 1734 Sunningwell
married Ann Wheeler 16 April 1759, Sunningwell
James was buried in Iffley on 2 April 1807
10 offspring known, all baptised Sunningwell.
6. Christopher Honey, son of James Honey, baptised 4 May 1777.
Married Elizabeth Couldrey 19 June 1803, St Peter in the East, Oxford
Elizabeth died & was buried in Iffley, 8 Aug 1809.
Christopher re-married to Frances Combes on 8 Oct 1811, South Hinksey.
Frances died & was buried 30 April 1820 aged 47, St Aldates, Oxford
Christopher died & was buried 27 Jan 1822 aged 45, St Aldates, Oxford.
My line then continues through their daughter Mary Honey who was baptised St Aldates, 13 June 1804 -- she married Joseph Steventon who was baptised St Aldates 7 Jan 1802. They had 10 children.
