« on: Friday 21 July 06 17:29 BST (UK) »
Hi All
Would S.K.S. be kind enough to help a thicko.
I have been able to sort out most of folio piece page etc. Example  RG12/766/46 /32, Ican work it all out except for the 46 is this the piece No. and where do you find it.
Sorry to be a thicko but I find it gets worse the older I get. Thanks in advance for your help.

In This case:

46 is the folio number (2 sides of a page).
The 32 is the page number in the booklet that the enumerator(s) used.
Several booklets may be in a single census piece.
