Looking at the black and white version it does look like PLEVEY
When its really enlarged it looks like STEVENS   ???

I will try all suggestions, though STEVENS is the favourite .. for now  :)

Spent several minutes looking at the various pictures. The more I look the more variations I see.

I don't think anyone has mentioned the following: Hesey, Heror, Herer, Hevey, Plesey, Plesery.
