Hello, My name is Sue Ann Goodfellow-Kelly. I was Wondering how much you know about the Goodfellow side of your family. I am at a Brick wall. His name was Thomas Goodfellow and he came from England in or around 1639. Any info would be GREATLY appreciated. THANK YOU!!  :D

I have Goodfellow ancestors too.

My GGG Grandmother Catherine Goodfellow born 1844c Ireland, her parents were George Goodfellow and Hannah Goodfellow.

Catherine married my GGG Grandfather Robert Clark/e on 5/1/1865 at Newtonhamilton, Church of Ireland.Robert's parents were John Clark and Mary Skinner.

Catherine's usual address at time of marriage was Altnamackan and Robert's was Tullyvallen.

They had 4 children in Ireland before coming to Scotland , roughly around 1872c as they are first recorded in the 1881 census for Old Kilpatrick Scotland, there first child born in Scotland was around 1875.

The Goodfellow name comes all the way down the generations of Clark/e as a middle name.
