SKB deep in thought on the beach wondering about that birth certificate and the census record not quite tying up.... and Keith having a giggle throwing stones into the sea...

And of course, a shot of Hastings would  not be complete without the sight of the crashing waves of the sea, or a big fishing boat that makes sure Chris gets his fish fresh on a Friday....

Oh... and one more, a big anchor with crustations of some sort and one of those half-boat buildings again... another cliff lift is in the background....

We had a GREAT TIME   Thank you Chris for being such a wonderful host, and for the wonderfully animated and interesting tour of 1066 land.

Central heating  it's still sunny down here on the coast  but sadly no plans for a beer in the great outdoors today

I thoroughly enjoyed taking you around and trying to pass on some of the local knowledge aquired since I moved here some 20 years ago.

I really enjoyed looking at the pictures you posted and they brought back some happy memories of the day.
