And finally for tonight

Time to sit and relax at the end of the day and enjoy those last few rays of the sun

Hi again, Everyone,
Didn't arrive back home in Cambridge until the wee small hours, and have only just surfaced...
Well done to Chris for organising a really excellent day in Hastings - the weather gods smiled on us, as you can see from the photos.
Great to talk face to face with other Rootschatters, and had a good long chat with Trystan about how he set this whole amazing website up.
Though I must say I would like to hope that many MORE of you come to the next Rootschat Meet wherever and whenever that might be...

Lovely photos Lesanne and it looks as if the weather was kind to you.   Wish I could have been there!  Any chance of some names to go with the faces - I only recognise Trystan & Sarah?

And the competition for this month is
What is Trystan doing against the wall of Battle Abbey?

Clearly he is searching for his Norman and Saxon roots.

PS Great pictures!

I would have thought Trystan had a fairly strong stomach!  Maybe not!

Hi all

After joining us for Sunday Dinner, Trystan and Sarah have just left Hastings on their way back up north via the A21, M25 and the M6.

It has been a great weekend, and I know that they both enjoyed their short stay here down south

Listermint, (err indoors) myself and our children now wish them a safe journey home
