Chris,
Is the start time still as in your original post?
My train times are showing arrivals at 9.53am or 10.23am, so do I go for the early train just to be safe, or the late train and the extra half hour in bed?

My tentative is now a definite - hurrah! I'll even volunteer to take the photos
I'll be coming along the A259 from Dymchurch/New Romney if it helps anyone.
Chris - do we park at Battle Abbey or the station or elsewhere?
Edit - just checked out your link and answered my own question!

Yes, start times are as listed, although we are very flexible
Go for the early train, Arrive at 9.53, it will give you time to sit and have a cup of coffee on Battle Abbey Green
