Hi Julian,

Sadly the Pier has just closed down yet again with structural problems. It could be the end of the road for the Pier. As far as I know the nudist beach is still there. You'll find plenty of slot machines still in the Old Town.

Hi

I have only just found this thread. Chris please can you send me details of accomodation? As I am venturing south from sunny Nottingham I will probably stay Friday and Saturday. My next job is to look on multimap as I don't know where Hastings is.

Hi Jane

I know that Chris is currently on holiday so I thought I would pass on two useful websites that you could use to find some accommodation.

Firstly I work for the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and we have accommodation in our area.
http://www.highweald.org/sites.asp?PageId=39
You will find a map on that page that might give you some idea of where Hastings is.

Also there is the Visit South East England website that also has an accommodation page.
http://www.visitsoutheastengland.com/productsearch/accommodation/accomsearchform.aspx

Hope this helps

Hi Kerry

Thanks for the information. I now know where Hastings is. The closest I have been to is Brighton.
