
thank you everyone for your time and effort i wasnt sure about the 51st with it being a "high land " divison and albert was from feckenham, worcestershire so please excuse my ignorance
but youve now certainly gave me enough to do some digging
as i have said albert and my great grandfather were raised together as my g,grandad was an orphan , i found them both on the 1901 census ,then i was given his mothers will in which she left him 50 pounds (in 1946) he bought a pedal/motorcycle and returned to were he served in france,albert wasnt mentioned
in her will so the first place i looked for him was cwgc and sadly i found him .now thanks to your help i can make him more than just a name and for my family at least not forgotten
