John Dingwall DOB 8 June 1835

  John Dingwall, born in Rosskeen on 8 June 1835.  He was the son of Thomas Dingwall and Ellen Ross.  John has been a very difficult one to track down.  If anyone has come across him in their research I'd appreciate hearing from you.

Many thanks for your reply Joe.  Since I originally posted my message I'm coming to the conclusion that John was either Royal Navy or Merchant Marine.  I've recently found one record that appears to match that shows him in China.
