Don't these terms indicate Church of England?

Christ Church. - This new church, situated in the Drummond Road, Boscombe, was formally opened on Monday by religious services, conducted by the curate in charge, the Rev. Henry Ebben, who for nine years has been assisting the

But the Record Office tell me "
our archive catalogue and found no reference to Henry
Ebben. ""
iFurther searches of the Hampshire Advertiser revealed that the iron church was Christ Church, of which we have no records. " but then "
Christ Church is listed as a place of worship in the 1895 Hampshire directory - with the Rev Henry Ebben" I am confused

Have they any record of him or not the email is contradictory to say the least can any one help please
