I got info by word of mouth that said such and such came from ...pronunciation Killarlah....lol...not found any killarlah....found the relative though at Killinchey..close by to Killinchey apparently is Killyleagh....lol....is this their Killarlah pronunciation Killyleagh i wonder??..Now you know why I'm asking!!  ::) ::);D

I have the same with my McKinnelleys......... from Ireland spelt as it sounds so could be McKinely, McInerly, McEarly oh and McNally !!etc etc etc (any variation on a theme) Have traced them over here in UK but not in Ireland!!!

I think you need it with Ireland dont you! Just found a wedding for my couple that came over in the 1850's.. and a death, so thats good can get the certificates for more info ;D

I suppose in a way you have to be thankful we have unusual names to look up..must be soul destroying having to look through hundreds of Smiths  ;D
