I think the Sabina Ford you have found in 1851 is the correct one Arranroots. I notice a sister Harriet the same age as the one on the 1861 census for Sabina :) :)
Seems unusual for there to be 2 Sabina Fords of the same age in the same small village, maybe she was visiting and her mother put her down as well :) :) :) :)

That is what I think must have happened, Nessie.

I tried all sorts of spellings of her name in 1841 and only found the one I posted.

Incidentally, you were asking (by PM) about the unusual names - Sabina is a variation on Sabrina, the roman name for the river Severn: good views of that from Wotton!!

Thanks for the information, I also found Tinwall and Adrian Acre as an address suggestive of historical interpretation
