I have found George Younge, Mathew Henry, Matilda and some not originally posted
i.e. Percy, Rachel and Jemima.

Have no information of Joseph, Mary Ann, John, Stephen or William.

I have left the posting on hoping that at least one of these people would be

Hi Meliora

Thanks for the two postings, some of these I already have and the others
are not the particular Strutts I am looking for.

I was hoping that someone else would eventually be searching for this
Strutt Family.  The reason I am so keen to make contact is that I know
that they will not be able to go back further with the Father of the
children I originally listed who were born between 1801 -1825.

Have recently joined rootschat and am interested in your postings for Joseph Strutt.
My GGG-grandfather was named Joseph Strutt and I have him being born in London c1800. I have his wife as Jane Strutt b C1811. Two children as follows:-
James Strutt b. 7 April 1836 and Joseph Strutt b C1843. This seems very close to recent postings by you and Spendlove. Could we communicate about these similarities? Cheers

Welcome to Rootschat.

 The person you want to contact re the family Strutt is Spendlove, the person who originally posted the request, I am sure he will be pleased to hear from you as he( or she) is the one with the direct interest in them.

I am one of the multitude of looker uppers who spend our time helping people who are having problems tracing their missing relations, so I have no connection myself with the Strutts.   We looker uppers are many & with varied expertize in the realm of family history researching, always willing to help where we can, sometimes with spectacular results & sometimes we admit defeat where the ones we are seeking seem to have disappeared off the planet, but you can rest assured that we wll do our best to find then if they are there.

The are a lot of different boards in Rootschat, all counties & districts have their own boards so have a trawl around just to see what there is.

Just one small plea, if you post a request for info, please give all the info you have , i e names, dates of BMDs, parents, census, anything that might help is tracing your request as this eliminates the looker upper having to do the basic work & saves a lot of time.
