Blackrod Burial Lookup - Smith (1780/1795)
« on: Sunday 02 July 06 18:26 BST (UK) »
Does Lancashire have a general burial index which includes Blackrod for the time period 1780 to 1841?  If so, I would like to request a lookup for the following people:

William Smith, baptized Sept-1781 in Saint Katherine
Joseph Smith, baptized Nov-1783 in Saint Katherine
David Smith, baptized Nov-1790 in Saint Katherine
Nathan Smith, baptized June-1794 in Saint Katherine
Elijah Smith, baptized July-1797 in Saint Katherine

I believe them to be my 4th great-grandfather's family but I can't find any record of them after 1841, which would indicate that they either died or immgrated to a different location.  Any help in figuring out if any of them died during this time period would be helpful.  Thanks...

There is a death on the Lancashire BMD site in 1863 for a Nathan Smith  reg district Adlington  may be worth seeing if he is in that area on the 1861 census- may be the one.
