Hi All,

Well,
I love my new information.  Thanks to you kind people.

I think you are right about Nanny/nurse being the role, Jenn.

She probably got a free ride home  to London in exchange or these duties.

It is definitely my Jessie.  The age is even accurate on the ship's list.

Thanks Team.

Sue

1. Lily Aileen Parrett moved to Sydney around the outbreak of WW2. She still turned up occasionally at family events in Melbourne during the 50s and 60s. She died in Sydney in 1970, though she is buried in Melbourne at Box Hill cemetery with her parents.

2. Jessie Parrett, together with her sisters Clara & Minnie, as "the daughters in England", put an anniversary notice in The Argus 1923-12-19 p13 for their father's death. I have seen no evidence she ever returned to Australia, or married. Best shot I have seen for a possible death registration is 1965, at 93.
PARRETT: London, Melbourne
