Thanks for this, and apologies for being tardy in my reply.  Am interested in any Pettmans in South Australia - hopefully some time this year I will actually get there to do some of my own research.

Hi

Frances Pettman (Dec 1845 - 30 December 1913) married George Reeves (11 August 1831 - 4 December 1903) on 6 October 1865 in the Registry Office in Blean, Kent and had 13 children bearing the Reeves name.  I hope this helps.
