Could someone kindly do a death look up for me.

Charles Henry BEETCHENOW [my g g grandfather] emigrated to Australia and in Jan 1855 married Louisa WAKELING.  They had four children, two died in infancy.  Louisa died in 1921 - my 95 year old dad remembers her well. I can't find the death on Victoria BMD site or NSW BMD site of Charles.  There is a death for a Charles Henry BEETCHENOW  in 1861 but it his infant son.  My dad thinks he died in the late 1890's.  I have found that Beetchenow is often mistranscribed so that may be the problem in this case.  I would appreciate any help.

Cheers
Skipworth.

Do hope something turns up for you.

Hi Skip,

My pleasure!

I should have explained myself better.......the Victorian Inquest Index lists all deaths that have had a questionable cause eg. car accident, poisoning, suicide etc.....between the years 1840-1985.
There is a Jessie Beetchenow who died 1943 and Frederick Walter Beetchenow died 1965. If you are interested, I can send you a pm with further details.

Kind regards,

Magoo
