If you are still doing this I wonder if you could look up a Frederick William Hudson, supposedly born in Sydney but I have had no success finding him.

There are some possibilities for you depending on when this event took place.
I had a look at around the 1900 era and there are two possibles.

Frederick W L HUDSON born 1894 at Tamworth,NSW to parents
Alfred P & Emma

Frederick W HUDSON born 1911 at Paterson,NSW to parents Henry & Emma J.

If you have a time frame let me know.

The only relevant records I found in the Victorian Death Index, 1921-1985, were

- one of the children of Thomas BAYLEY and Martha SKELTON:
BAYLEY Hy Jno, father Bayley Thos Adam, mother Martha SKELTON, died at ARM, age 88, in 1931, #7603

- and one of the children of John HAIR and Agnes MORGAN:
HAIR Saml Geo, father Hair Jno, mother Agnes MORGAN, died at GBOROUGH, age 66, in 1933, #12740

Someone who has all the indexes might be able to find more information for you.

I presume you have the marriage of John HAIR and Agnes MORGAN in 1860 in Victoria, and the births of six children - Robert 1861, Bartholomew, 1865, Samuel 1867, John 1869, Sarah Ann 1871, and Patrick 1873.

Did Thomas Adams BAYLEY and Martha SKELTON migrate to Victoria?  What were the names of their children?

I see from the IGI that persons of those names married in 1839 in Heslington Yorkshire (Thomas's father was also Thomas Adams BAYLEY, and Martha's father was John).  A Thomas Adams BAYLEY and a Martha SKELTON had Thomas Adams BAYLEY bap 20 Feb 1842, St Cuthberts, Edinburgh, Midlothian Scotland.  These are both extracted records.  There are also LDS submissions for children to Thomas Adams BAYLEY and Martha SKELTON but some look very odd indeed.  And LDS submissions saying that Martha died in Victoria in 1894 (I don't have access to that index) and a son Joseph d 1864 Victoria.

That death appears:
BAYLEY Joseph Hater, father Thomas Adams, mother Martha SKELTON, died, age 20, born CHES, 1864 #665.

A search at:

shows that the passenger list of the 'Lightning' in June 1862 includes:
BAYLEY TA age 46, Martha 48, Joseph 17, John Hy 14, James 11, Annie 9 and several other BAYLEYs.

thomas bayley emmigrated to vvictoria in 1866 they had four children whose brithdates i would like
lydia elizabeth, thomas adams(he was born in 1843 by the info you gave me) joesph hatter, james mollineux. same as yours from the first familiy site thomas adams is my ggf brother he also went to victoria along with apassle of kidies
