Hello
I noticed you have an index for early Bounty Immigrants to NSW.
Some of my ancestors arrived very early c1800-1815 as convicts and
making up the gen tree has introduced some strays. I have been advised that the Scots Church of Sydney had a bounty scheme in operation and this could help explain some oddbods.

Are you able to advise if the name
Melville (Scots) appears.
Place of origin would have been Larnarkshire
On the COE side I have mystery
GoddardPlace of origin would have been parish Shoreditch...Whitechapel, London
I found a whole host of rellies by fluke on a website re the Maitland that arrived in 1838 and thru this I discovered about 4 families all related. They were the Wenhams Marshalls and Chapmans.
The Maitland carried those from areas like Beneden & Rolvenden in Kent
http://www.fairhall.id.au/maitland.htmI noticed you have Bates in your surname interests would they be
around Singleton and Bingara NSW?
Also Whelan, mine are concentrated in Tasmania.
regards
Rosalie
